Mr. Horwitz:

We have just received from you today the final proofs of loss forms on our fire loss claim. We notice that the total we will collect for the building and contents is $425,065.64. Frankly, this is more than we thought you would be able to collect under the conditions.

We want you to know that we are quite well pleased with the way you handled this claim from beginning to end. We feel that your investigation into the full facts, your analysis of the figures and the preparation of the claim was done in such a thorough manner that the final settlement with the adjusters was more or less routine.

Not only was the amount you collected for us favorable, but the time you saved us in claim preparation and settlement was considerable. This enabled us to apply our energies to getting back into production.

If at any time in the future you should like to use our name as a reference, please do not hesitate to do so.

Sincerely,
W. H. Briddell
