Dear Larry:
We have just received the final draft from the insurance companies covering full settlement of the fire loss which destroyed our stock, machinery and building in Hightstown on June 27, 1949. We want you to know in all sincerity that this entire difficult insurance settlement was handled by you in a manner completely satisfactory to us.
We know of the many, many difficulties which confronted you in the adjustment of this loss and we sincerely appreciate your efforts in our behalf. I know, personally, that these difficulties involved considerable tack and discretion on your part under very trying circumstances and you always handled yourself in a manner such as to do credit to yourself, your organization and our organization. The many extenuating circumstances that arose in the course of this settlement required acumen of very high order and I am happy that you justified the confidence that we placed in you.
It has been a pleasure to have had you represent us in the case.
Kindest personal regards
Sincerely your,
Sol Diamond
