A graduate of Drexel University with a degree in Business and a concentration in Accounting, David Horowitz has been an integral part of Young Adjustment Company for over five decades.

Public adjusting has always been a part of his life—his father and grandfather were deeply involved in the business and helped build the company into what it is today.

Beginning his career with the company in 1974, he held a wide range of roles—from delivery and sales to claim preparation and estimating—gaining a deep understanding of all operational aspects of the business.  In 1982, he became a Licensed Public Adjuster, handling both personal and commercial claims, including complex multi-million-dollar losses.

In 2000, David assumed the role of President and CEO. Under his leadership, the firm has continued to grow as a nationally recognized public adjusting company, representing a diverse range of clients, including homeowners, businesses, manufacturers, religious institutions, and governmental entities. He continues to lead the company’s strategic direction and personally manages large, high-value claims.

David’s leadership extends beyond the business. He received the Jewish Federation Young Leadership Award in 2002, served as President of Golden Slipper in 2006, and was honored with the Gold Medallion Award in 2010. He has been a guest speaker at the Pennsylvania Association of Mutual Insurance Companies (PAMIC) Conference and is an active member of the Union League of Philadelphia.

His dedication to both the public adjusting profession and the broader community reflects a lifetime commitment to service, leadership, and excellence.
